Job Title: Trade Counter Assistant/ Warehouse operative

Salary: Up to around £30,000 per annum, plus bonus DOE

Key Responsibilities
Trade Counter:
* Assist customers at the trade counter, handling inquiries, processing sales orders, and offering product advice where needed.
* Ensure a high standard of customer service by building rapport with customers and understanding their product needs.
* Operate the point-of-sale system, manage cash transactions, and maintain accurate records.
Warehouse:
* Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring all stock is accounted for and matches delivery documentation.
* Organise and maintain stock locations for efficient picking and restocking.
* Prepare and package customer orders accurately for collection or delivery.
* Regularly conduct stock checks to maintain accuracy and help manage inventory levels.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring a mix of trade counter and warehouse experience, preferably within the plumbing or building supplies industry, along with a proactive attitude and a desire to grow in their role.
