We're looking for a Grab Driver to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Exeter.

Division Overview
Our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks division brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will work on our South West Water framework, focusing on repairs and maintenance services to ensure reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.
Responsibilities
As a Grab Driver, you'll support schemes including mains laying, pressure management, district metering, and large complex mains repairs.
1. Backfill and service excavations on the public highway and private land.
2. Assist with removal of excavated material and import of clean stone for backfilling.
3. Ensure compliance with backfilling operations regarding materials, compaction, cavity depths, cover levels, and quality control.
4. Complete site risk assessments, quality checks, update scheduled work, and maintain records via an electronic tablet. Support depot activities by transporting materials.
Candidate Requirements
This role is ideal if you hold:
1. A valid driver CPC license and Lorry Loader/grab clamshell ticket.
2. NRSWA streetwork operative card covering 001 - 006, including SLG reinstatement in the Highway.
3. Experience working on utility contracts and knowledge of proper lifting practices.
