We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Lettings Negotiator / Administrator to join our Residential Lettings team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record in property management and a passion for the lettings industry.
About the Role:
You’ll help grow the lettings side of our business, bringing new landlords on board, and maintaining exceptional relationships with existing clients. Staying ahead of industry legislation and regulatory changes will also be a critical part of your role.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Advertising properties and taking high-quality marketing images.
2. Conducting viewings and virtual tours.
3. Carrying out routine property inspections and organising visits with tenants.
4. Completing lettings valuations and advising landlords on potential rental income.
5. Managing your diary efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
6. Responding to enquiries by phone, email, or in person.
7. Assisting with tenant check-ins and check-outs.
8. Working with our maintenance department to help organise maintenance, while keeping landlords and tenants informed.
9. Assisting with application forms, reference checks, and deposit returns.
10. Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
About You:
1. Previous experience in property management or residential lettings would be desirable.
2. Experience in completing lettings valuations (advantageous).
3. A proactive approach to growing and developing a business.
4. Strong knowledge of lettings legislation and a commitment to staying updated on industry changes.
5. Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
6. A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build long-lasting relationships.
The role is Monday - Friday, 9am-5.30pm. This role will include working a Saturday on a rota basis but you will receive a lieu day during the week. (Flexible working hours can be discussed at interview) (There will also be some days required to work from our Morecambe office)
Driving licence and own vehicle is required - Mileage/expenses paid
* Salary between £25,000-26,500 (Dependent on experience)
