As part of the central IT team, this new role will ensure that all staff and students within the Trust's Primary Schools and Initial Teacher Training Scheme will have access to high-quality, proactive IT support, across multiple sites.
This role will support four primary schools and various remote sites throughout the Tendring and Colchester areas and will require travel to these locations. The IT Service Manager will work within the framework of the Trust’s IT Technical Standards and will be a valued member of the Trust's IT staffing structure.
This role requires excellent communication skills, some technical expertise, and the ability to meet the diverse needs of multiple schools within Sigma. Due to the nature of this role, the postholder must maintain a solid understanding of multiple school-based software programs, exhibit a friendly and supportive demeanor, and be prepared to travel to multiple sites.
