We are looking for an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join our team. You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Endoscopy Team supported by our experienced Endoscopy Manager.
You will be a part 1 registered NMC Nurse with specialist endoscopy training and experience of working in endoscopy. As an experienced registered nurse you will provide skilled and considerate nursing care to patients in the Endoscopy Department taking into account their specific needs during procedures utilising the appropriate Practice Plus Group Integrated Care Pathway (ICP).
Your sound clinical and Infection control knowledge combined with your ability to solve problems and think both literally and laterally will enable you to coach and support others in your team. We encourage sharing of best practice across our site to develop your skills and take advantage of our excellent clinical leadership knowledge.
What you'll be doing
To provide a high quality, within the Endoscopy department; maintaining the highest standard of care and safety for patients, visitors and staff. To be competent in all aspects of clinical practice/ endoscopy techniques and procedures within the Endoscopy Department.
To provide clinical and managerial support to the Department Lead Nurse and Senior endoscopy Nurse in the development and implementation of high quality care protocols to provide a highly effective fast track service for all Endoscopy procedures. Work towards developing and maintaining a cohesive multidisciplinary team.
