Job Description
1.
Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.Oversee site work and development activities, ensuring compliance with zoning laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

Site Management: Manage all aspects of the construction site, including site preparation, excavation, and infrastructure development.Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and safety protocols.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.

Vertical Construction Oversight: Oversee the construction of vertical buildings, including commercial, retail, and mixed-use properties.Ensure structural integrity, adherence to building codes, and compliance with project specifications.Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Budget and Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.Track and report on project expenditures, identifying and addressing any financial discrepancies.Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.

Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of construction professionals, including site supervisors, project coordinators, and laborers.Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.Provide regular project updates to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders.Prepare and present project reports, including progress, budget, and schedule updates.

The Successful Applicant
7. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
8. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial construction management, with a focus on site work, development, and vertical buildings.
9. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial construction projects.
10. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
11. Strong leadership and team management skills.
12. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
13. Proficient in construction management software and tools.
14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
15. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager).
16. Experience with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification.
17. Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
