Recruitment process from hiring, supervising, appraisals, staffing structures Inc. rotas and to ensure that all staff members understand their roles, responsibilities and expectations of the company;
Ensuring the Home operates in line with legislation and the companies’ policies and procedures;
Financial budgets;
Staff Management, Training and Appraisals; To provide supervision and appraisals for all team members in accordance with agreed policies;
Provide effective leadership to the team, acting as a positive role model;
Liaise with senior management and external professionals such as local authorities and other agencies; To co-ordinate, attend, chair staff and further agency meetings as and when required in a professional manner;
Recruit, train, support and supervise staff;
Ensure individualised plans for each person as well as ensure safeguarding of all young people underpins every decision made;
Day to day leadership of the home;
Manage the home in accordance with all of adult social care requirements;
To ensure that activities are planned, creative, stimulating and provide enjoyment and fun for the residents;
Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Residential care setting;
Experience of working with adults with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties;
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role with experience of managing a team of staff and rota’s;
Exemplary attendance and performance record;
Full UK driving licence; essential;
Managing CQC inspections to a minimum overall ‘good’ rating;
NVQ 5 in Health & Social Care;
Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, ideally on the update service.
