£57,145 – £71,054 + Excellent Benefits (including defined benefit pension)
Independent Living Fund (ILF) Scotland empowers disabled people to achieve independent living outcomes through dignified assessments and the distribution of discretionary awards, whilst remaining accountable to the Scottish Government.
Following the re-opening of the ILF in April 2024 fund to new applicants, and in support of our ambition to make independent living a reality for all disabled people in Scotland and Northern Ireland, we are excited to announce the creation of the essential new role of People and Culture Lead.
Your New Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead the development and delivery of our People and Culture function. This is a unique opportunity to shape and embed best practices while developing a strategic, solutions-focused approach that supports the organisation’s long-term goals and growth aspirations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and implementing a new People Strategy, ensuring it aligns with and supports our strategic objectives.
* Fostering a positive, inclusive, and dynamic workplace culture grounded in compassion, trust, integrity, and inclusion.
* Driving continuous improvement and innovation by developing and embedding quality processes and systems across all HR and Organisational Development activities.
* Contributing to the operational business plan, including policy development and corporate reporting to the ILF Scotland Board.
* Leading on HR initiatives and delivering hands-on support across the full HR and Organisational Development portfolio.
* Ensuring the active promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion across the organisation and ensure it is ultimately an environment where everyone is treated with courtesy and respect.
About You
We are looking for an experienced HR professional (CIPD qualified or equivalent). You will bring both strategic and hands-on operational HR experience across the full Human Resources and Organisational Development portfolio, as well as involvement in the development of an effective People Strategy. As people are at the heart of our organisation, your personal value set, work style and integrity will be crucial in ensuring the organisation’s ongoing and future success.
