Restful Homes Group – Chase Specialist Care Centre is currently on the lookout for Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) for Days & Nights at our beautiful home based in Cannock.
Our Specialist Care Centre provides 89 spacious bedroom suites providing the highest quality of care to older residents of Walsall and the surrounding areas who require Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Specialist Dementia care with associated behaviours that challenge. We also cater for older people with enduring Mental Health needs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery of care and for the supervision of others who are carrying out all aspects of the caring process. They will assist in setting and maintaining standards of care and will participate in maintaining effective management of the team and home and working alongside Care Assistants.
To act as person in charge, to stand in for the Manager/Deputy as required and observe all instructions and ensuring high standards of care to residents in line with company policy & Registration.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct patient care, including assessments, evaluations, and treatments
2. Administer medications and monitor patient responses
3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
4. Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
5. Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
6. Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals
7. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures
Experience:
1. Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
2. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
3. Experience in medication administration and dosage calculations
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
6. Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
