Job Description:
Fire & Security Business Development Manager required. Our client, which has been established for over 35 years in the Fire & Security industry, is currently looking for a Business Development Manager due to business growth. There are two sales teams: Corporate and Territory, for which they are recruiting. They will consider experienced BDMs anywhere in the UK.
Fire & Security Business Development Manager Position Overview
Responsibilities include:
* Professional account management experience selling high-end security or fire solutions across various public and private sector organizations.
* Building productive and profitable relationships with customers.
* Managing revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, and other sales tasks to meet financial goals.
* Consulting with customers to design, cost, and build proposals for security systems.
* Assessing market opportunities and developing business plans to meet revenue targets.
Corporate role requirements:
* Experience working with large enterprise customers, public sector bodies, and M&E contractors.
* Track record in leading bid/tender teams for installation projects and service agreements.
* Professional, solutions-based approach to account management.
* Expertise in pipeline development and conversion.
* Success in developing new business and expanding existing accounts.
* Knowledge of working with high-end clients and major contractors.
* Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
Territory role requirements:
* Proven success in developing new business and growing existing accounts.
* Ability to work autonomously with remote support.
* Understanding of service and product sales, with innovative approaches to customer solutions.
* Professional, solutions-based customer management skills.
* Effective negotiation skills and overcoming objections.
Position Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
* Willingness to work nationwide.
Remuneration:
* Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 with an OTE of £85,000–£100,000.
