Job Purpose
The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a key ambassador for People & Culture within the organization, aligning closely with business objectives and future strategies. In accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, and processes, the HRBP will be responsible for assisting with various strategic human resources activities and executing Human Resources tasks.
Job Description
1. Act as a consultant and coach to managers, advising on people solutions across the employee life cycle.
2. Implement People & Culture strategies that align with global objectives (True North).
3. Maintain knowledge of the business and products/services relevant to assigned customer groups.
4. Support managers in succession planning, talent management, and retention strategies.
5. Partner with COEs and Shared Services to ensure P&C processes align with global standards while adapting to local business needs.
6. Ensure adherence to global P&C procedures and local regulations, challenging behaviors inconsistent with values and the Code of Conduct.
7. Manage compliance with employment laws, employee relations issues, and workplace investigations.
8. Engage with employees to identify trends, recommend improvements in engagement and retention, and act as a change agent for company initiatives
You are meant for this job if:
9. 3+ years of HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
11. Knowledge of HR management methods, tools, and key laws.
12. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel.
13. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data for business decisions.
14. Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
15. Strong organization and time management skills for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
16. Relevant oil and gas industry experience preferred
Work Environment
Spend 95% time in an office environment. Occasional exposure to the shop or field as required. That exposure can lead to possible hazards including noise, outdoor temperature extremes, chemicals, pressure testing, heavy lift operations and shop/field traffic when visiting areas outside of the office
Physical Demands
Office environment requires sitting, operating a computer, walking and some lifting. Hands-on labor in shop and/or field environment, which requires lifting, walking, stooping, bending, and some climbing.
