Although a small team, this is a service that is critical in the effective day-to-day running of the Children and Young People Services (CYP) executive, including Leadership Team, Cabinet Members and Heads of Service. The team is comprised of our Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Senior Administrators and Administrators. The team also retain close links with our wider CYP Business Support and Information Governance teams. Your daily tasks may include all or some of the following: Providing comprehensive administrative support across our Directorate. Managing a diverse range of day-to-day operations, including financial processes, IT systems, HR coordination, and compliance with information handling procedures and legislation. Your exceptional organisational skills will shine as you seamlessly coordinate diary schedules, arrange events and meetings, take action notes and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. With a keen eye for detail and a solutions-oriented mindset, you might train colleagues, monitor progress, and tackle project-based work with efficiency. You could be providing advice on on specialist policies and procedures, assisting with budgets and planning your own and others work.
