We now have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Administrator to join our Commercial team at our offices in Ashton Gates, Bristol. This is a one year fixed term contract. The main purpose of this role is to support the Gifts Buying Team in all administration required to ensure timely delivery of new product launches, new supplier setup and tracking income delivered by the Team.
What you will be doing:
* Supporting the Gifts Buying Team in the delivery of Team goals by:
o Owning and delivering all aspects of new product set up on the system, across all gifting product categories
o Meticulous attention to detail on new products ensuring the customer is getting the information they need and products are presented in the best way to aid conversion rate
o Working with the in-house and external teams to deliver new line information, samples, and photography in a timely manner for the launch of new products
o Working with the visual merchandising team closely to ensure products launch on time to maximise sales potential for key trading events
o On-boarding new suppliers as requested by the Buying team, ensuring laser focus on actioning quickly and accurately in line with current process
o Actioning and tracking price changes in a timely manner to maximise sales potential
* Continuously tracking supplier income, working with the Buying, Finance and Demand Planning teams to ensure income is invoiced, tracked, and forecasted accurately
* Continuously monitoring competitor activity and wider trends to spot new range and product opportunities, pricing changes and proposition enhancements and sharing these across the team
* Reporting as required on the Gifts category performance

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships
* Ability to work autonomously and manage your workload in a fast-paced environment
* Advanced Excel and Microsoft office (ideally Pivot Tables / V-Lookups)
* Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads
* Positive attitude with a strong ability to work well within a team
* Excellent attention to detail and meticulously organised
