About the role:
The successful candidate will travel between 5 homes on a daily basis to provide support to the West Humber Region. Our homes are based in Goole, Selby, Hull and Tadcaster.
You’ll work on a rota basis across the homes within the Region based on the need within each home at the time of your shift, with an average of 169 hours per month on a full-time basis plus sleep ins depending on the size of the home.
* You’ll meet the needs of the Children and Young People in line with OFSTED regulations.
* Help organise and facilitate a number of social activities with our young people, such as days out, work in the community and even the occasional holiday!
* Assist in the day-to-day running of the home with tasks such as laundry, general housekeeping, shopping, meal prep, and fun activities like baking!
* Attend and participate in team meetings, sharing ideas and best practices.
* Work closely with our clinical team and the local authorities.
Qualifications/Experience/Requirements:
* We’re looking for people with life skills; experience with children or in health and social care is beneficial but NOT essential, as full training and support will be provided.
You MUST have a full UK driving licence due to the locations and nature of the work.
