Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Pay Bracket: £40,000 - £48,000 + Benefits.
We are working well-established company specialising in the manufacturing of product for clients throughout the UK.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business with excellent working culture and exposure opportunities. This role will report to the directors, you will be responsible for managing our accounts department on a day-to-day basis. There will also be some general office administration as part of the daily duties.
Your main roles and responsibilities:
Responsible for both the AP / AR functions of the business
Opening of new accounts, using credit checking facilities to judge the client's creditworthiness. Creation of accounts in both our invoicing system and sales ledger.
Providing copy invoices to the clients.
Support other team members in all areas of Credit Control.
Reconciling customer accounts, ensuring accounts are up to date and payments received on time.
Preparing Reports for Senior Leadership Team
Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management
Assist in opportunities to reduce cost.
Understand and participate in group initiatives.
Identify potential future opportunities for improvement.
Any other ad hoc duties as required by Manager
The ideal candidate will have:
Part Qualified Accountant
Experience in high volume industry
Knowledge of Sage/Xero/Similar Accounts Package
Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
Experienced in Payroll & VAT
