Network Rail High Speed Ltd. (NRHS) is responsible for operating and maintaining the UK's only international high-speed railway, High Speed (HS1). The 109km HS1 infrastructure consists of a diverse range of railway assets such as the track, signalling, overhead line, lineside buildings, depots, viaducts and long tunnels. NRHS is also responsible for operating and maintaining three international stations; St Pancras, Ebbsfleet and Stratford International.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, NRHS is privately financed under an agreement with our client ‘HS1 Ltd', undertaking a diverse range of activities from railway infrastructure maintenance and operations to station facilities management and retail on behalf of our client.

About the Role
We are looking for a Assistant Track Maintenance Engineer (High Speed) who will:
1. Support the Track Maintenance Engineer and wider team with technical knowledge of the wider track discipline, including management, direction and compliance throughout the TME directorate.
Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Skills
1. Able to demonstrate relevant Railway experience
2. Able to absorb and recall large quantities of information quickly
3. Able to effectively communicate to all levels of people inside and outside the business
4. Significant track engineering experience
5. HNC or equivalent Civil or Mechanical engineering

The role is based at Singlewell, however frequent travel to our other office and site locations along the High Speed line is expected.

We follow a structured pay framework, any salary offered will be within the following pay range: Band 4C - £43,588 - 55,574 (plus £1,940 outer London allowance).
