Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit a second Trainer.
In this role you will train, induct and deliver the ongoing training of all care and office staff in accordance with our standards, policies and procedures. Ensure we comply with our regulator CQC requirements, relevant regulations and legislation and in line with accepted best practices.
Job Description
Follow and deliver Home Instead training and induction programmes in accordance with legislation and current industry best practice inclusive of Company Policy and Procedures.

To act as an ambassador for Home Instead West Lancashire & Chorley.
Primary Duties
* Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation.
* Deliver appropriate training programs externally to stakeholders.
* Advise Senior Management of any changes to the training we provide which may be required to meet legislative requirements.
* Arrange and provide bespoke training updates for all staff.
* Assist all staff with additional training support e.g. NVQ/QCF/SVQ.
* Keep accurate training records for all staff.
* Support in accessing training from local funding sources.
* Assist and contribute towards Quarterly Care Professional team meetings.
* Maintain regular contact with all Care Professionals through mentorship programme and QA process.
* Support with Observational Monitoring/Spot Checks as and when required.
* Support with Care Professional Inductions including observations to assess competence in line with the Care Certificate.
* Support Care Professionals with personal development plans.
* Regularly review and update with changes forwarded by National Office.
* Cover care shifts as and when required.
* Participate in out of hours “on call” rota.
Provide up to date hand over for out of hours cover.
Qualifications
* 2 years minimum professional experience in the Care Sector.
* Experience of training delivery.
* Good understanding of Microsoft Office programs i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
* Relevant teaching qualification - although training can be given.
* Level 3 Health & Social Care vocational qualification or equivalent (minimum).
* Functional Skills (Maths & English) at Level 2 minimum.
