About the Role As an SEN Supply Teacher, you will provide high-quality teaching and support to pupils with a variety of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other learning difficulties. Whether covering short-term absences or longer-term placements, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in students' education and fostering a nurturing learning environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of SEN students. Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and the school’s SENCO to support each child's progress. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and inclusive environment. Adapt quickly to different school settings and requirements. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting. Strong understanding of individual education plans (IEPs) and strategies to support diverse needs.
