Job Title: Van Delivery Driver
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, South Kirkby
Salary: £12 - £18 per hour
Job Duties
* Deliver a wide variety of items to customers throughout the Yorkshire region
* Follow routes and time schedules
* Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
* This role will involve heavy lifting at times
* Complete logs and reports
Required Qualifications
* Valid UK driver's licence
* Maximum of 6 points
* Proven work experience as a delivery driver
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Good driving record with no traffic violations and a maximum of 6 points
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Previous experience as a delivery driver
Knowledge And Skills
* Knowledge of local areas and roads
* Ability to lift heavy packages and goods
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Basic maintenance knowledge of delivery vehicles
Preferred Qualifications
* Additional certifications in logistics or related field
* Experience with electronic devices and GPS systems
Working Conditions
* Physically demanding role involving loading and unloading of goods
* Driving in various weather conditions
* Interacting with customers on a daily basis
