RSM’s Outsourcing team provide finance function and management accounting services. Our team work with a range of clients, with a focus on Financial Services, Real Estate and Energy and Natural Resources. We currently have a vacancy for a high-quality accountant to fill an Outsourcing Senior role. In this role, you will act as controller for a portfolio of clients, leading on the reporting of management accounting information and ensuring smooth running of the finance function. You will own the client relationship with regular communication to client principles. Building strong and trusted relationships is key. Working closely, supervising and directing, with Outsourcing Assistants within the team is crucial to successful delivery of the service. You'll report in to managers, directors and partners who lead the business, but the Senior role is central to the achievement of the wider team’s strategic objectives and allows for RSM client liaison development and professional growth for yourself. The successful candidate can expect to be attending the Newcastle office at least 3 days per week. You’ll make an impact by: Timely and accurate preparation of management accounts and VAT returns Take responsibility for a client portfolio Managing client relationships, building trust, monitoring quality standards and ensuring delivery of an excellent level of client service and stakeholder management Working collaboratively with key members of the Outsourcing team and senior management, in addition to other departments where appropriate What we are looking for: We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate: Part or Fully qualified ACCA/ACA or minimum 5 years QBE. Excellent compliance skills, able to work with limited requirement of supervision. Strong time management and organisational skills, and adhering strictly to client reporting deadlines. Awareness of relevant financial targets and constraints and contributes to achieving these, keeping the relevant Outsourcing Manager informed of progress.
