You will identify needs and work with children and families to provide support and implement plans. Handling section 47 enquiries, CIN, assessments, and planning will be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with professionals to support children and their families. Additionally, you will manage cases involving children on child in need plans for short-term periods until they either step down or step up to ICPC, at which point cases will transfer to the longer-term assessment service. You will develop care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children, and provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations to protect children from harm. Collaboration with law enforcement, legal professionals, healthcare providers, and community organizations will be essential to coordinate services and support for children and families.
