Job Title: Social Worker – Adult’s Community Team
Location: Liverpool City Council
Rate: £43.78 per hour
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Social Worker to join the Adult’s Community Team in Liverpool.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Social Worker in the Adult’s Community Team, you will manage a complex and varied caseload, ensuring strength-based, person-centered conversations and assessments. You will participate in a duty system, complete high-quality reports within deadlines, and conduct mental capacity and best interests assessments under the Mental Capacity Act. You will lead safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014, collaborate with interagency safeguarding teams, and provide direct support to individuals, carers, and families. Additionally, you will handle high-risk situations effectively, ensuring appropriate escalation to senior management when necessary.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To succeed in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, and hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level. Post-qualified experience in social work is essential.
