The role
Are you passionate about developing elite football talent and integrating cutting-edge performance insights into coaching? Manchester City is looking for a PDP Coach Analyst to play a key role in the development of players at U15-U21 age groups. This role requires a deep understanding of our game model and the ability to blend technical, tactical, physical, and psychological data into impactful coaching strategies. You'll work closely with our multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) to design and deliver personalised learning plans, provide live on-pitch feedback using performance analysis, and drive innovation in training methods. You will work collaboratively with the Lead and Assistant Coaches in the PDP, the Head of Individual Player Development and members of the MDT to support the holistic development of players on and off the pitch.

Responsibilities
* Work in line with the coaching team and the MDT to manage the day-to-day delivery and integration of analysis within coaching, across the PDP.
* Further develop on-pitch training and coaching methods to drive the development of scanning and decision-making skills under pressure using technology and data as appropriate.
* Support the MDT to plan, deliver and review individual learning plans (at macro, meso, and micro cycle levels) with specific targets using a range of technical, tactical, physical and psychological data.
* Support the MDT to plan, deliver and review weekly individual and group training in accordance with specific macro and meso cycle development goals.
* Deliver group and individual on-pitch coaching including the provision of live technical feedback using data from performance and data analysts and a range of technologies. This will include responsibility for the technical / tactical coaching of 7 identified players’ ILP delivery.
* Align technical, performance analysis, physical performance and psychological insights to drive the delivery of specific ILP review and feedback with players.
* Support the Performance Analysis Team to deliver pre, in, and post training and match analyses to coaches and players.
What we are looking for
* Extensive Academy football coaching experience across U15 – U21 age groups.
* Experience of playing a leading role in multi-disciplinary teams to plan, deliver, and review football players’ individual development.
* Capability to provide live, technical, on-pitch, developmental feedback to young players using a range of methods and technologies.
* Capability to work with experts and multiple forms of data insights to create and track specific individual player development targets.
* FA Youth Award or Advanced Youth Award.
* UEFA B License.
* UEFA A License.
* Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualification in Performance Analysis.
* Experience of delivering team and individual performance analyses in professional football.
