We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated level one teaching assistant to join our supportive team at Feversham Primary Academy, in Bradford, on a fixed term basis.
You're someone who'll be able to:
Improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
Support with KS1, but be flexible to support across the school.
Support students so that they can; access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
You're someone who has:
Motivation and enthusiasm
Understanding of pupil's learning needs, including specific SEND needs, in order to support their access to lesson content.
Interest in extra curricular activities for our pupils.
Phonic understanding.
A background in music would be advantageous but not essential.
The skills to help students to develop independent learning skills.
Ability to deliver individual and small group targeted interventions.
Although this role is fixed term, there may be an opportunity to extend the position or make it permanent in the future.The role is due to commence January. This is a fixed term position.
