Job Description:
Supports assigned dealerships’ sales operations to achieve all district’s new vehicle wholesale and retail sales objectives including commercial. Promotes and supports all customer service and sales enhancing programs such as CPO and rental programs. Assesses sales operations through routine contact and site visits. Identifies areas of improvement and motivates dealership sales management to make improvements and take corrective actions to drive sales. Helps identify best in class dealerships’ practices and recommends incorporation into programs and policies. Works with Fixed Operations Manager counterpart to synergize operations. Provides logistical support relating to market representation changes and issues affecting assigned dealerships as directed by AGM. Cooperates with other districts to maximize national sales efforts.
A District may consist of 8 to 19 Dealerships depending on complexity and geographic factors.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive vehicle wholesale objectives through effective retail operations consulting.
2. Conduct routine dealership visits to review operations and meet with vehicle sales staff.
3. Review sales reports and financial statements with dealer sales management.
4. Monitor marketing and advertising plans for dealerships.
5. Maintain awareness of competing dealerships in the assigned market.
6. Educate dealership personnel on current incentive programs.
7. Promote awareness of commercial NV and incentives for the dealership.
8. Coordinate with Customer Experience team on analysis of quality of customer interface.
9. Identify and evaluate human resource issues in dealerships.
10. Support dealership, district, region and national efforts by presence and assistance at auto shows and special events.
Who We're Looking for:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.
Experience:
1. Senior Dealer Operations Manager: A minimum of 6 years of progressive Marketing and Sales experience, including a minimum of 3 years of analytical experience in various specialties of the automotive industry.
2. Dealer Operations Manager: A minimum of 4 years of progressive Marketing and Sales experience, including a minimum of 2 years of analytical experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Working knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, and other PC applications.
* Ability to prioritize own schedules and organize workload effectively.
* Ability to function effectively in a virtual office environment.
* Dedication to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers.
* Ability to influence the actions of others.
Physical Requirements:
Travel: More than 75% day and overnight domestic travel. Position requires residence within assigned district.

Salary Range: $87,978.00 - $172,830.00
