The role
The UK Digital Trading team is leading our broker digital trading strategy which is defining our product, technology, distribution and service requirements. Central to the team is delivery and ownership of products on various digital trading platforms, working with strategic brokers and scheme opportunities. This span of a project lifecycle will range from initial concept, business case, scoping and requirements through to working with technical delivery teams to successfully implement the changes you have defined, including taking a lead role in testing. In addition, the role will specialise in our digital trading platforms proposition taking ownership of product builds including maintenance throughout the product lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing
1. Working as an integral part of the UK Digital Trading team, supporting the full project lifecycle from initial scoping through to delivery and benefits realisation processes for products deliveries.
2. Provide technical knowledge across the various insurance platforms/propositions, (including but not limited to Acturis, IS2, SchemeServe).
3. Become a subject matter expert on a chosen digital trading platform, evaluating business operations and processes to identify where technical solutions would improve business performance.
4. Producing specifications and business requirements.
5. Building strong, productive relationships with the business, IT & third party stakeholders.
6. Implementing continual improvements within your sphere of influence to ensure that we are constantly delivering efficient and effective change.
7. Support the delivery of digital trading projects in line with the Hiscox Change Delivery Framework and the Digital Trading Governance Framework in order to realise business benefits and achieve service and process improvements.

1. Proven experience of eliciting, documenting and delivering high quality business analysis deliverables.
2. The ability to combine “soft” influencing, persuasion and consultancy skills with “leadership” qualities that will encourage stakeholders to positively respond to questions, enquiries and requests to meet deadlines.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with people at all levels within and external to the business.
4. Be highly results driven, with the energy and determination to succeed in a fast paced environment where the speed of response is critical to success.
