We are a successful and established FE College looking to recruit a highly motivated Lecturer in Counselling who will also fulfil the role of Course Leader. You will aid the curriculum area by delivering high quality lessons, supervising adult learners and assessing and grading key assignments, assisting the learners to understand the nature of their course and level. You will also be a key member of the IQA team, standardising work and preparing samples for moderation.
About the role
The role is ideally suited to candidates who are seeking an enhanced career move in counselling, as we are looking for someone to lead the small team of sessional tutors. The role is part-time across daytime and evening work and is an excellent opportunity for you to enhance your personal career development. About You
We are looking for a lecturer with a good working knowledge of internal quality assurance, and course leadership. You will be confident leading IQA for counselling and quality procedures, both externally and internally. It would be brilliant if you are able to demonstrate industrial experience alongside teaching experience so that the quality of education and progression at Buxton & Leek College is maintained.
