Leading and established Online Retail and Ecommerce business based in Preston, Lancashire are looking to secure an experienced Supply Chain professional to join their growing team.
With a turnover of c.£16m and growing! The business are looking to improve their Supply Chain by recruiting a talented and dynamic individual to continually improve and streamline the purchasing function. In addition to manage the production/inventory planning on our on-site packing operation. This is a great opportunity for someone to make a real impact in a growing company.
Role & Responsibility
1. Ensure the correct scheduling and procurement of products of both finished goods and raw materials sourced from the UK and globally.
2. Ensuring demand schedules are aligned to meet sales forecasts and planned promotional activity.
3. Creating, placing and chasing supplier purchase orders on SAP to meet demand requirements.
4. Delivery Scheduling; Liaising with the distribution team and suppliers to manage the flow of inbound deliveries of container arrivals to meet logistical and demand requirements.
5. Production planning for small on-site packing operation of raw materials into various packaging sizes.
6. KPI reporting on inventory and availability levels
