We are now looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our events sales service. This is a pivotal role where you will be at the forefront, driving sales by bringing in new contracts. Your responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and transforming them into long-term accounts. Key Responsibilities: Develop New Business Opportunities: Proactively seek out and identify potential clients and new business opportunities. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with future and existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions. Sales Strategy and Performance: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. Contract Negotiation: Assisting in negotiation of contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both clients and the company. Collaboration: Work closely with the Syon Media marketing and organisation team to ensure seamless delivery of event sales to client. Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on performance, providing regular updates to the management team on current status. Ideal Candidate: Background in Events: Previous experience in events and or event sales. Ideally you will be looking for the next step up in your career into management. Sales focused: Have a proven track record of hitting sales targets. Motivated and Confident: You need to be highly self-motivated, confident, and driven to achieve and exceed targets. Willingness to Learn: As this is a new venture for our company someone who is open to learning and adapting in a dynamic environment is essential. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills and confident at interacting with senior management level.
