Accept Recruitment is seeking a competent and qualified Finance Manager for maternity cover with a well-established print-on-demand manufacturer supplying the fast fashion and music industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the role while working closely with the Accounts Assistant and an off-site Company Accountant. Required: Qualifications: CIMA, ACCA, or AAT certification required. Proven experience in financial management, ideally within manufacturing or a similar industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members. Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with senior stakeholders. High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work to deadlines and implement efficient financial systems. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Daily duties: Report to the Director of Operations and CEO on financial matters. Develop and implement long-term strategic financial business plans. Manage and oversee daily operations of the Accounting and Finance Department. Analyse financial data, track company performance, and identify areas for improvement. Monitor budgeting, forecasting, and year-on-year profit and loss comparisons. Lead quarterly and annual financial reporting, presenting key insights to senior leadership. Identify financial risks and provide timely recommendations for minimisation. Ensure accuracy in financial record-keeping and oversee all payroll-related matters. Implement and maintain financial systems, including purchase orders and general ledger tracking. Manage outstanding invoices and develop strategic monetary recovery solutions. Lead and support the finance team through performance management, training, and development. Conduct payroll, VAT, and HMRC-related processes while ensuring compliance. Analyse customer information and trends to safeguard financial stability. Ensure financial certifications (CIMA, ACCA, AAT) are up to date and available for audits. Attend industry workshops and networking events to stay updated on financial best practices.
