Hybrid, Minimum of 2 days in the office per week
What will the role involve?:
* Leadership & Team Management: Lead a team of experienced Project Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high-performance delivery across all project teams.
* Project Delivery Oversight: Oversee the delivery of large-scale, high-impact software projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Process Implementation: Develop, implement, and continuously refine project management processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency and ensure consistency in project execution across the business.
* Process Governance: Conduct regular project reviews, driving continuous improvement across project planning and delivery processes.
* Financial Management: Track and report on project financials, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and tracking of project expenditures to ensure alignment with financial goals.
* Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, ensuring transparent and effective communication on project status, risks, and issues.
* Organisational Awareness: Work cross-functionally with product development, engineering, sales, and client teams to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality deliverables.
* Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure that any potential impact on project delivery is minimized.
* Strategic Input: Collaborate with leadership contributing to the strategic direction of the business and aligning project delivery with broader business goals.
What are we looking for?:
* Proven Experience: Extensive experience in project management within a software or technology-driven business, with a demonstrated track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
* Leadership Skills: Previous experience managing a team of Project Managers, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
* Financial Acumen: Strong ability to track and report on financial performance, with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing project-related financials.
* Process Improvement: Experience in implementing and optimizing project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
* Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders and navigate challenges in project delivery.
* Strategic Thinker: Ability to align project execution with the overall strategic direction of the business.
