As a Cybersecurity Consultant, you will be responsible for safeguarding our clients’ computer systems and networks as a dedicated on-site contributor. You will keep our clients safe and secure by monitoring for breaches, investigating incidents, implementing measures, and conducting training to protect sensitive information.

Your responsibilities:
1. Liaise with 3rd party SOC and respond to security incidents.
2. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential risks.
3. Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
4. Analyse security breaches to determine their root causes and recommend preventive measures.
5. Collaborate with client’s IT teams to ensure that security practices are integrated into all technology systems.
6. Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices.
7. Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technology solutions.
8. Prepare reports and documentation related to security incidents and compliance requirements.
9. Accurately log, track, and resolve incidents and requests recorded.
Who are you?
For our clients to trust us with ensuring their cyber security and to successfully achieve the position's goals, we believe the following qualifications and personal characteristics are desirable:
1. Diploma or degree qualification, combined with relevant IT accreditations (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP).
2. Experience as a cybersecurity analyst or similar role, with proven proficiency in network security and system administration.
3. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, NIS).
4. Oil industry experience is favorable, with Offshore Medical and Survival Certificates a further advantage.
5. Being a proactive and analytical problem solver.
6. Good collaboration and communication skills.
7. A high sense of honesty and integrity.
8. Being an agile learner - quickly adapting to new challenges, embracing change, and applying new knowledge effectively.
