Stepney City Farm’s extensive Education Programme is one of our core charitable activities, and includes on-site workshops and interactive tours for schools, work experience for young people, and a range of learning opportunities for families. The Schools Programme Manager is responsible for the booking, administration, session development and delivery, monitoring and reporting for our curriculum-linked programme for Early Years Foundation Stage to Key Stage 2 (primary school) groups, welcoming over 5,000 school children a year to the Farm. The post holder is also responsible for the development and delivery of additional educational programmes, such as after-school clubs, holiday activities, SEND and SEMH tailored programmes, and the sale and delivery of our best-practice egg incubation projects for local schools, which generate income in support of the Farm’s educational activities. We are seeking a candidate with experience of environmental education with primary aged children in a community setting, and a track record of meeting delivery targets and reporting impact. You should have a flexible and responsive approach, and a willingness to respond to new opportunities for working with schools.
