The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is a modern forward thinking large teaching hospital employing 10,000 staff and offering a full medical service to a population of over 570,000. It has strong links with both the School of Pharmacy with onsite teacher practitioner posts and the Medical School at the nearby University of East Anglia. To provide leadership of the pharmacy dispensary service within NNUHTo support continuous improvement of the dispensary and related services ensuring that the service is designed, delivered and evaluated to meet the needs of both patients and staff within the Trust.To provide a visible, accessible and authoritative presence within the dispensary in order that staff, patients and their families have confidence and can seek advice and support.To work collaboratively with other Pharmacy Operations Managers, and the wider management team, to remove variation across the department and support joined working.To be responsible for the strategic direction of the dispensing service and for the delivery of a dispensing service that meets the needs of the Trust.
