Position Summary
Why join our team? This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting business area within Samsung UK, supporting the Smartphone & Accessories Product Management team to create, co-ordinate and deliver our targets in our direct and indirect channel partners.
Role and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities:
1. Deeply understand, interpret and champion Samsung Mobile & Accessories products, the market, its consumers, channels and competitors & IE MX (Mobile Experience), Europe Office/Suwon & reflect within the plan.
2. Be a central point of contact across the categories for an integrated view and support on Product Set-ups for customers, annual Management Plan and monthly target setting, Kick Off, Customer NPI Meetings, & Delegation Preparation.
3. Assist the Smartphone & Accessories PMs to actively track and report the status of the sell-out of the plan, identifying and analysing areas of below plan performance.
4. Go deep to understand what is behind the performance and make fast recommendations on how to correct or offset. Taking a lead on projects to support MX growth & development.
5. Support the sell-out (AP2) forecasting for Smartphone & Accessory products at SKU level (customer, colour, memory variant).
6. Support the response to changes in the market and actual performance to update, evolve and implement new activities and actions to achieve SEUK MX critical metrics and objectives within any given period.
7. Manage the product set-up process, both with Suwon and channels completing the required set-up forms and proof reading copy.
8. Understand and communicate USP and feature hierarchy to support Samsung Shop and our channel partners with product assets and digital page creation.
9. Ensure administrative tasks relating to SKU creation, .com, logistics and product specifications, product certificates are completed within channel deadlines.
10. Liaise with HQ with regards to various operational product requests and queries and look to drive efficiency of the information sharing process.

* Extensive experience in the area of product management/product lifecycle management with technical proficiency.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
* Strong numeracy/commercial competence.
* Exceptional skills in Microsoft office packages especially excel.
* Experience handling P&L, delivering profitability with low margins.
* Creative thinking.
* Self-motivator and self-starter.
* Excellent communications skills with the capability to present to critical team members.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Flexible & adaptable with capacity to work in cross functional teams.
* Ability to work at a fast pace, with accuracy in a changing environment.

What does success look like?
* Ability to lead key relationships internally (UK Account teams, Technical Product Engineering, Marketing Execution, Brand, HQ teams, ETO/EHQ, Supply Chain and Marketing) and externally (research agencies/business partners/promotional agencies).
* Demonstrate the priorities of the Smartphone & Accessories category through daily activities and aligning the SEUK business behind the priorities needed to win in the UK market.
* Ability to make decisions with full awareness of impacts and wider business trade-offs.
