PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to Join their Commercial team on a permanent basis. This role with be based in Cambridgeshire and will involve working within Residential groundworks Projects.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Roles and Responsibilities
Managing the end-to-end commercial aspects of the assigned projects to maximise value and collaborating with the Finance and Procurement departments accordingly.
Perform the closeout process, ensuring all contract terms are met and payments are verified.
Work with the project team to evaluate the impact of budget changes.
Preparing and reviewing tenders with estimators and assisting with understanding the client's requirements to offer value engineering.
Review and validate weekly cost monitors, comparing forecasted costs with actual costs.
Forecasting monthly and annual profit figures ensuring figures are maintained throughout the lifetime of the project.
Undertake site visits to administer the contract in line with project progress.Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements
BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course
Highly computer literate including Microsoft Office and confident in managing and working with large data sets
Residential Groundworks background Ideally
Professional membership of appropriate body
Good data interrogation skills
Bid Knowledge
Excellent legal/contractual knowledge
Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Salary - Up to £85,000 DOE
