AA Euro Group are recruiting a H&S Advisor on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor. Delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK. Role Overview As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture across large-scale infrastructure projects. Working closely with project teams, you will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations. Advise on best practices to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment. Assist in developing and implementing health & safety policies and procedures. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions. Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions. Ensure all site documentation, RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements), and permits are up to date. Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and senior management to drive safety initiatives. Monitor and report on HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement. Requirements Qualifications: NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) required; Diploma desirable. Experience: Previous experience in health & safety within civil engineering or infrastructure projects. Skills: Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, risk assessment processes, and HSE legislation. Attributes: Proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and ability to influence safety culture.
