Mode Search is supporting an Iconic Fine Jewellery Brand in their search for a Store Director. The company is a renowned luxury brand. The role is part of their strategic growth initiative and focuses on driving high jewellery sales, talent development, and operational excellence.
As Store Director, you will oversee the store’s operations, driving high jewellery sales, exceptional customer service, and team development. You’ll lead by example to achieve sales targets, build client relationships, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires a dynamic leader with experience in luxury retail, particularly high jewellery, who can inspire and manage a team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities:
* Lead daily store operations to achieve or exceed sales goals and operational targets.
* Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with clients to drive revenue growth and ensure exceptional customer service.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, client engagement, and operational efficiency, and take action to optimize performance.
* Manage and motivate the team, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer service excellence.
* Ensure store compliance with operational procedures, safety regulations, and internal controls.
* Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent, working closely with HR for recruitment, training, and employee development.
* Provide leadership and guidance on employee relations issues, fostering a positive and high-performance team culture.
* Collaborate with senior leadership and operations teams to ensure consistency and efficiency across all store functions.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in luxury retail management, with a strong focus on sales, client relationships, and people management.
* High jewellery or premium luxury goods experience is highly preferred.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
* Strong business acumen and the ability to drive store performance while maintaining a focus on exceptional customer service.
* Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and compliance.
* Strong clienteling skills, with a demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with high-net-worth clients.
* Experience in HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems.
* Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
