Contractually based out of Basingstoke, you’ll be working around Basingstoke and the surrounding North Hampshire area. This is a full time, permanent role, working 39 hours per week, and will also include participation in the on-call rota. This’ll mostly be plastering, with some varied other skilled tasks (such as carpentry). As one of our values is focused on delivering a great customer experience, you'll work hard to meet set timescales and get the work done with a 'right first time' approach. You’ll always have a good focus on health and safety awareness and wear the correct PPE. You'll have good customer skills & communicate well with our customers as a front-facing employee. You'll have an NVQ level 3 in plastering (qualified by experience will be considered). You'll also be experienced in plastering and other skilled trades works, including carpentry. This role requires use of a hand-held device, so basic IT skills are also necessary. We do our best to make reasonable adjustments wherever possible. However, due to the nature of this position, the job holder must be capable of: Working at heights Manual handling and lifting heavy and bulky items A high degree of mobility, which will include walking/lifting/loading and unloading vehicles A full, clean current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) is needed so you can drive one of our vans when necessary.
