Based near Aylesbury, our lovely Nursery, The Wendover Day Nursery, are looking for a very experienced senior practitioner to support our busy baby room and work alongside the management team as a Third in Charge. Working a 38 hr week, salary being offered is up to £34,026 depending on experience, together with a fantastic benefits package, and we also have onsite parking.
Wendover Nursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group, and is based in Wendover within walking distance of the mainline train station at Stoke Mandeville and an easy commute from Aylesbury. Requirements
As a Nursery Room Manager - Third in Charge you will:
1. Work alongside the management teams
2. Lead and support the busy Baby Room
3. Ensure that all teams are providing stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
4. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor always
5. Lead and support your team together with supporting their training needs to ensure best practice at all times
6. Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
Qualified level 3 or above, with at least 4 years experience of working in a Nursery and at least 2 years experience of a leadership role.
