We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director with expertise in the Utilities domain to drive business growth in the European market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of utility sector trends, digital transformation, smart grids, and energy management solutions. This role requires a strategic leader who can develop high-value relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to expand business in the Utilities sector across Europe.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with utility providers, energy companies, and relevant stakeholders.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in smart grids, renewable energy, energy storage, and digital transformation solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and solutions teams to tailor offerings to client needs.
* Lead complex sales negotiations, ensuring long-term strategic partnerships and revenue growth.
* Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to drive informed business decisions.
* Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
* Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting to meet or exceed sales targets.
Requirements:
* 10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record in the Utilities sector.
* Strong understanding of Europe's energy regulations, digital utilities, and emerging industry trends.
* Experience in selling smart grid solutions, energy management, or digital transformation technologies.
* Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to drive end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting to closing deals.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in managing sales teams and driving revenue growth.
* Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
* Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience working with energy companies, grid operators, or technology providers in the utilities space.
* Familiarity with AI-driven energy solutions, IoT, and sustainability initiatives.
* Fluency in multiple European languages is a plus
