Job Description:
The Senior Landscape Architect will lead landscape planning projects, focusing on LVIA, environmental assessments, and strategic planning. A strong understanding of policy and legislation relating to landscape planning is essential, as well as collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, including ecologists and arborists. This role involves overseeing report preparation, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and providing expert advice on integrating landscape into planning processes.
Estimated Salary: £42K (inclusive of DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead landscape planning projects, including LVIA and environmental assessments
2. Develop strategic plans for landscape integration
3. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including ecologists and arborists
Requirements:
A background in landscape planning or a related field, with experience in LVIA, is required. Ideally, the candidate should be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or working towards it. Strong project management skills, ability to lead teams, and deliver high-quality work on time are essential. The candidate should have a good understanding of planning policy and environmental legislation and be comfortable working closely with clients and other professionals.
