Production Manager
A Production Manager is required for a growing family-run Fabrication company based in Coventry. The Company specializes in prototype and low volume fabrication and sheet metal products for a wide range of industries.
As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the manufacturing plant, along with the Management and Directors. You will also be responsible for Health and Safety, Quality Management, visiting customer and suppliers sites for various projects, ensuring maximum and efficient productivity.
Production Manager - Duties:
1. Implementation of manufacturing and engineering techniques such as Lean to deliver measurable results.
2. Setting Productivity Goals and ensuring KPIs are maintained.
3. Ensure all capacity planning documentation is updated.
4. Ensure products meet all required documented specifications.
5. On-time delivery of products to all customers both internal and external.
6. Create and help maintain procedure and specifications.
7. Keep the work areas clean and organized and take care of all equipment and facilities; organize TPM and 6S requirements.
8. Ensure the shift complies with all Company standards when working (Health and Safety, hygiene, etc.) and follow all safety rules focusing on team welfare and safety.
9. Focus on improving processes and culture.
10. Assist in the QMS to meet the company's requirements.
11. Manage and mentor weld coordinators while carrying out the role yourself.
Production Manager - Applicants must have:
1. Strong background in Fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing, with a proven track history of success within production management.
2. Knowledge of CAD or similar design package.
3. Excellent Leadership Skills.
4. Full, clean driving license essential.
5. Reliable and strong work ethics.

Working Hours: 7.15am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday & 7.15am - 12.15pm Friday, but must be able to show flexibility during peak production periods.
