Passionate about fundraising. Proven experience in fundraising, preferably within the non-profit sector. Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques, and strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative fundraising ideas and campaigns. Highly organised with excellent project management skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proactive in searching for funding applications. Have an understanding of data protection and be confident using a data-entry system that we will provide training on. Passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals affected by mental health and behavioural issues. This is a remote working role so you don't need to be based in Devon but its great if you are, then you like us get to enjoy the beautiful Devon countryside, if you don't live here coming to visit us can be a great excuse for a holiday at the same time. You don't have to be but if you are an animal lover to then that's just a bonus If you love horses that's a double bonus but again not necessary for the role. All volunteer roles will be subject to the relevant CRB level check for the role and reference. What will you be doing? We are seeking a Fundraiser manager to join our new team of skilled volunteers. Do you know everything there is to know about fundraising and bid writing? If so this role isn't for you Everyone in our organisation believes that we are all continuously growing and learning. We do all we can to support our people as they grow as they support our organisation as it grows. While we expect you to be experienced in fundraising please tell us how you would like to grow and develop in this role so we can consider how we can support that. Are you passionate and innovative? Do you have the skills to grow our fundraising income? We need someone who will raise funds and awareness of our charity and promote its growth and development. The main purpose of the role will be to develop a sustainable fundraising strategy to support our Charity’s aims. You will be one of the first skilled non-board members to join our team which is currently made up of our Trustee board and our Founder & CEO. You will work with the CEO and in collaboration with other not yet appointment members of the fundraising team. You will work with the CEO To identify income streams to maintain and develop sustainable funding through some, or all, of the following Funding applications to Trusts/Foundations and other organisations, Supporting and planning of fundraising initiatives, Identification of new funding opportunities Supporting other volunteers to market fundraising events, Developing community fundraising, Researching prospective Trusts, Foundations and Corporate donors Developing engagement in direct giving and gifts in kind Managing a fundraising database.
