Working within a small dynamic team both on-site and remote, the role is focused on supporting strategic business systems improvements and projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* IT Support
* Business Systems Applications
Reviewing the business systems application within the business, including in-house developed applications and toolsets. This includes working closely with the IT Manager, key suppliers and maintaining these applications, updating change logs and ensuring supporting data is clean.
A key element of the role would be to promote standard work and lead a continuous improvement methodology to drive better ROI from our business systems to support business growth.
The role will also be focused on implementing and managing configurations within our ERP platforms, working closely with engineering and operational teams to ensure new configurations and change control for existing configurations are maintained.
The role will include elements of cross-support within the small team and group, including working closely with key supplier partners.
You will be working as part of a larger Swegon IT & Business Systems team, including working with the group's MSP, concerning any IT projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities / Position In Structure:
Reporting to the IT Systems & Projects Manager. No line Management / Supervisory responsibility however working closely with UK & Global project teams.
Main Duties And Responsibilities:
* Working with business leadership and stakeholders to define strategic systems requirements.
* Process scoping, design and documentation.
* Process mapping and documentation.
* Providing commercial proposals and budget plans.
* Project management, create and maintain project plans.
* Define key milestones.
* Host and minute project meetings.
* Allocate and support project tasks, with both internal and external teams.
* Full milestone management including risk management.
* Driving and supporting internal teams with standard work practices and continuous improvement opportunities to drive process improvements via our ERP platforms.
* Maintain change control and documentation.
* Root cause analysis.
* Task management and allocation.
* Legacy systems data review and cleansing.
* Creating and supporting training plans.
* Looking at ways to drive automation and improved data management.
* Run new staff inductions.
* Provide training for relevant applications.
* Maintaining printer fleet, including third-party support.
