The role of the Shipping/Logistics Coordinator is to liaise closely with the Parts CSRs and the Warehouse Team to ensure the most effective and efficient use of outbound Freight of all Parts orders being dispatched from the Northern Ireland Site as well as full responsibility for all Packing Slips. Responsibilities include ensuring pack slips are delivered to the warehouse in a timely manner, securing a cost-effective delivery service of Spare Parts Orders to the MPP Dealer network all whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring all necessary paperwork has been completed for export along with invoicing. Main Tasks and Responsibilities Liaise with the CSR Team and Warehouse team to ensure accurate timescales for delivery. Request Freight costs, monitor and review for cost savings. Identify ways to improve logistical operations. Scheduling large stock orders and planning logistics to ensure there is sufficient storage space for incoming parts & staff on hand to manage the shipments. Build excellent working relationships with existing freight companies and be main point of contact for Freight queries. Preparation and filing of import, export GRNs, permits,DespatchNotes and all other documentation associated with the outward movement Parts order shipments. Able to generate reports from Epicor for line manager on shipping/logistics. Communicate transport updates with internal CSR team so they can communicate with their respective dealers. Work closely with Dealer support and the CSR Team for freight saving opportunities. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Desired Education and Background Educated to GCSE Standard or equivalent with proven experience in Freight Management Ability to work well under pressure in afast pacedenvironment. Strong organizational, coordination and customer service skills. Must be proficient in MS Office (including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Outstanding communication (oral/written) skills required. Self-motivated with excellent time management skills. Excellent geographical knowledge of the area. Proven experience in highlighting cost savings and utilization of Freight services.
