Role: Security Officer
Shift Pattern: 06:00 till 14:00 Mon - Wed / 14:00 till 22:00 Thurs - Fri (40 Hours, Mon-Fri)
Pay: £11.50 per hour
Location: Townsend Hook ME6 (candidate must live within 40 minute radius)
Our customer is a forward-thinking privately-owned company who are a leading provider of professional integrated bespoke security and facilities management services, giving their clients a flexible and scalable approach to addressing their security and FM requirements in their businesses across an array of sectors including educational settings / student accommodation, healthcare, charitable, corporate / estate management, warehouse / distribution, social housing, utilities, shopping centres / retail parks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Access Control: Manage access and egress records to ensure the security of the premises.
* Log Maintenance: Maintain accurate logbooks and registers for visitor tracking and access control.
* Visitor Notification: Notify relevant personnel upon a visitor's arrival and assist with their needs.
* Appointment Tracking: Monitor the arrival and departure of individuals for scheduled appointments.
* Phone Management: Answer phone calls, responding appropriately to callers inquiries and requests.
* Visitor Assistance: Handle visitor requests and provide assistance as needed, including arranging transportation upon departure.
* Mail Handling: Receive and distribute mail deliveries to the appropriate personnel.
* Alarm Response: Respond to alarms and investigate any disturbances, ensuring prompt resolution.
* Security Monitoring: Authorize the entrance and departure of employees and visitors to prevent theft and ensure security.
* Emergency Contact: Contact police or fire departments during emergencies as necessary.
* System Checks: Check alarm circuits regularly to ensure the security system is functioning properly.
* Building Systems Monitoring: Monitor and adjust controls for building systems, such as air conditioning and heating.
