POSITION SUMMARY: The Fujifilm Integrated Inkjet Solutions (FIIS) Regional Sales and Business Development Manager role is responsible for winning and developing new customers for FIIS in Europe. Key targets for this role include driving growth of FIIS print engine solutions and Fujifilm Unigraphica AG transport systems portfolio for the graphic art market and more specialized inkjet solutions for the security market, end producers of product (primarily brands) and OEMs. In addition this role will interface with the Fujifilm European Graphics Division for driving sales of standard FIIS products through the Graphics sales channel. The role will include direct engagement with the markets and customers of interest through trade association presentations, trade shows, and direct customer lead generation and contact in the defined territory. The role will require an initial assessment of opportunities to qualify leads identifying technical success potential, size of the opportunities and fit with current and near term capabilities. This position may interface with the Business Development (BD) team from our subsidiary ink companies to develop hardware related opportunities that will drive ink business. The position will work independently and as a part of a team focused on driving new business opportunities. Team members may include marketing, sales, and business development people from other Fujifilm divisions in addition to those from FIIS. The position is home office based, but a regular presence at FFUG’s in Liechtenstein is expected to welcome clients and facilitate collaboration with the team. The territory will include the UK, Nordics, Germany, France, Poland and the CEE region. This role is distinctly different from a Product Management role, but if a new market is discovered where a FIIS/FFUG product would be of interest, the BD Manager will work with the Product Manager to hand off the information for further evaluation by the Product Manager. This role is split between developing and selling short term opportunities and developing medium term opportunities and market/application spaces (working in “markets” and VOC type scenarios). The role will require an appropriate balance of these two important tasks. SCOPE Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
