Job Description MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our Central Services - Finance team. As a national charity, we are dedicated to providing health and wellbeing and support the needs of individuals across multiple specialties. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing financial planning, acting as a business partner to senior operations managers, and ensuring the organization's financial robustness and efficiency. Benefits Competitive salary uo to £55K Flexible working arrangements, hybrid working Free onsite parking Opportunities for professional development Generous pension scheme Responsibilities Supportung the Finance and Corporate Servces Director Producing monthly management reports with detailed variance analysis Supporting the budget building process and providing detailed analysis Leading the midyear review and update of the budget Providing financial returns to service/contract commissioners Analyzing key financial data and advising senior management on strategic planning Developing and implementing cost-effective financial policies and procedures Ensuring compliance with legislation and all tax obligations Managing facilities and estate, including liaison with landlords Leading the implementation of our Carbon Reduction Strategy Supporting the management of the outsourced IT infrastructure Qualifications Degree in accounting, finance, or similar Qualified Accountant with CCAB (e.g., CCAEW, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA) or similar overseas qualification Substantive experience as a management accountant or finance manager Proficiency in business management and accounting software Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations Experience in the not-for-profit sector (charity) If you are a qualified and experienced Management Accountant with a passion for making a positive impact, we encourage you to apply.
