Operations Support Manager - Oxford
Salary: £36,000 per annum
Location: Oxford Brookes University
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Sunday
Key Responsibilities:
1. Passion to deliver the best in the name of Gather & Gather with a sharp eye for detail to identify and implement improvements.
2. Responsible for a portfolio of sites to ensure that the service and operation is delivered in line with G&G standards, the client’s expectations, and achieving all set financial targets and budgets.
3. Report to and assist the Operations Manager with ongoing projects, overseeing all catering operations within Oxford Brookes University.
4. Deliver great experiences, focusing on brilliant spaces, energetic and engaged people, and amazing food.
5. Identify, motivate, train, develop, and direct Unit Managers to deliver exceptional results and accomplish goals and projects.
6. Drive a culture of excellence throughout the business with a passion for quality food preparation and taste.
7. Lead and develop a team of Unit Managers, overseeing units, vending, and new ventures.
8. Support each site with day-to-day management of the contract, ensuring that all client expectations are surpassed, providing innovation and training.
9. Oversee GP, Labour, Controllable Costs, Compliance for all sites, implementing strategies to control costs.
10. Ensure the highest level of H&S is adhered to, coaching & controlling all compliance across the units.
11. Build consistency of the offer and service across the estate, continually reviewing standards and processes.
12. Identify additional opportunities for improvements, constantly looking for new ideas in technology, food, service, and people.
13. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to implement new ways of improving our presence.
14. Manage client and stakeholder relationships while ensuring contractual compliance and adherence to company policies.
